Rooted

As I child, I was always playing outside. I loved getting “lost” between trees, hike mountains and rocks, and most times, I was barefooted which my grandma hated! This was the inspiration of this project, ROOTED.

I long for the days of past. Where we were free and although we daydreamed often, we were rooted in ourselves. We roamed around with sensibility and with a carefree spirit, never worrying about what adulthood meant but often making believe we were “older”.

Mimicking features and gestures of adulthood but still innocent. Rooted.
