Hi, I’m Amanda Smith and I’m all about capturing the genuine nature of people and families through my lens. My passion lies in creating beautiful, candid photographs that truly reflect who you are, while also turning moments into cherished family heirlooms. I believe in making photo sessions enjoyable and relaxed, focusing on creating a comfortable and fun atmosphere.
My goal is to ensure that every moment feels natural and effortless, allowing genuine expressions and interactions to shine through in your photos.

The Start
I began my career as a wedding and portrait photographer in 2010, which helped me developed a journalistic eye. Working on weddings has taught me invaluable lessons and brought me to meet incredible people with amazing stories. Nowadays, I photograph about one to two small weddings per year as I’m focusing on portrait work more.
How did I get here?
In 2015 I was asked to document a concert for the Miami Music Project (a non-profit organization that provides music education to underprivileged children.). It all became so clear that day as if I finally found a little nook in this vast world. I remember feeling so focused and creative. Each photograph came so naturally and effortlessly to me, I was mesmerized and captivated. From that day forward I made it my mission to photograph musicians, dancers, and actors as a personal project.
In 2017 I decided to open up a studio in downtown West Palm Beach. It has been a great experience having a space of my own and I really enjoy the creative process of each photo session!
My Style
In short. I’m a Storyteller.
After nearly 13 years of capturing countless moments, I’ve come to realize that my approach to photography is not one-note; it’s a blend of relaxed, natural, and lighthearted elements, while also embracing emotional, cinematic, and heartfelt nuances.
